New Jobs and Cats

Jamison and I now own two cats. I never thought that I would have cats, but here they are, staring at me as I write this post about them. The reason Jamison and I have two cats (they are still kittens, about two months old) is because they belonged to our New Hampshire neighbors. Our neighbors can no longer stay here and decided to move back east. With this decision, the cats were to become homeless. Our neighbors, Chris and Gary, didn't know of anyone who could take them and so offered them to us. I was sitting with Chris when she offered them and didn't have the heart to tell them no. So we brought them over to test it out a few days ago.I was a little hesitant about the whole idea of having cats in the house. I have never really been a cat person; more dog and horse. But I have really warmed up to the idea and like our cats a lot. They are cat-dogs. They love being around people and playing.
Jamison and I decided that we would be okay if they lived with us. It's been fun actually. I like having animals and even though I don't like cats, these two are fun. If I had a camera (Jamison's got lost in the move and mine broke a few months earlier) I would take pictures so you all could see them. But until I find someway to take pictures and show them I will give you a quick description of the animals now residing in our home. Asia is a white kitty with a pink nose and grey spots. Buddy is a tiger stripped cat with a face that looks like it had its stripes painted. We are enjoying them though and it's good to have some company during the day before I have to go to work.
Speaking of work I have a wonderful announcement. Drum roll please..... I am now a dance teacher at Healthily Ever After! It's a community dance studio which also teaches gymnastics and healthy living for the whole family. It's great. It's a start up studio with a lot of potential. I am one of the jazz, modern and ballet teachers there. It's fabulous.

  1. 2 cats?! haha, you're well on your way to becoming the cat lady, except since it's you and jamison you'll be the cat house or something, hopefully they're nice and cute though.
